The logo and mascot of UEFA Euro 2016

UEFA Euro 2016 is also called the 15th European Football Championship which is to be hosted by France. There are 24 teams participating in the tournament, but the host country France qualified automatically for the Championship while the other 23 teams have to qualify for it through qualifiers, and 51 games will be played from June 10 to July 10 in 9 cities of France.

In June 2013, UEFA released the logo of Euro 2016. The designer of the logo got inspiration from the theme “celebrate soccer art”, and the logo takes the red, white and blue of the French flag as the elements and perfectly combines with Delaunay Cup.





In November 2014, the mascot of the Euro 2016 was released officially. UEFA held an unveiling ceremony for the mascot of the Euro 2016. The mascot is a brown-haired and brown-eyed boy called Super Victor, and he wears a blue & white No. 16 jersey and a red cape. The red, white and blue are the main colors of the Euro 2016 logo, and they are also the colors of the French flag.
