Bale: We Should Support Zidane

In the 6th round of La Liga, Real Madrid 2-2 drew with Las Palmas away, meeting consecutive two draws. In the game, Cristiano Ronaldo was unhappy to get replaced in the second leg and he even ignored Zidane who talked to him. After the match, Zidane made an explanation on replacing CR7, and Bale said Zidanes decision was good for the team.

Replacing CR7 was the decision of our coach. Every player hopes to keep playing, which is normal. But our coach makes decisions that he thinks are good for the team, and we just can support him. CR7 always tries his best in games, and he did not have pre-season training, not like us. I think he is in nice form and I know he wants to play in every game.  Said Bale.

About the result of this match, Bale said he was disappointed, We failed to win the game, though we still remain unbeaten in La Liga. But the most important thing is winning the game and getting the three points.

Guardiola: We Need A Failure

Manchester City FC have wins in different games, and Guardiola is a hot topic among the media in England. Recently, Guardiola shows his sense of humor in an interview.

An English journalist asked Guardiola how to deal with the team’s complacency caused by the consecutive victories, and Guardiola answered “When did you see a team self-contented after a 4-0 victory? After you win, the team feels more comfortable with better mental condition.”

However, Guardiola suddenly said “But I am clear that our consecutive victories will cease one day, maybe we need a failure, the sooner the better. Of course I’m joking, but you understand what I mean, that we need something to calm everybody down.”

Owen: Guardiola Does Well in Regrouping Man City While Mourinho is Good at Strengthening Man Utd

Michael James Owen, former forward in England, talks about Mourinho and Guardiola in his weekly column in a Chinese newspaper.

Guardiola and Man City
Guardiola has played an important role in Etihad Stadium. Man City showed their strength in the game against West Ham United, but their deficiencies also got uncovered. After the half time, Man City should have ruled the game, yet they were careless, and their loose defense as well as West Ham’s struggle enabled Man City not to keep their ascendancy in the second leg.
Guardiola’s tactics are kind of special, which are different from most head coaches’, so Man City’s players still need some time to adapt. To Man City’s players, the biggest challenge now is the wing backs are requested to run into the midfield and the central defenders must try ball control, which is a unique tactical requirement.
From the current situation, Guardiola’s remolding Sterling and David Silva is quite successful. Now Man City are good at changing their tactics and formation, making themselves unpredictable.

Mourinho and Man Utd
Mourinho did a great job in signing new deals, which has insignificantly improved the team’s strength. David de Gea is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and Mourinho signed Bailly, Pogba and Ibrahimovic. In the past few years, Man Utd did not bad in defense, yet the new change Mourinho has brought to the team is the team is able to score. Beside the signings, Mourinho also strengthen the team mentally and the players are more united. Undoubtedly, Man Utd’s players are very confident now.
