Aiming at the 2018 World Cup title! Spain

Controlled by the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Spain national soccer team stands for Spain in all major international competitions.

Before winning the 2008 European Football Championship title, the team had failed to get eye-catching results for long in huge international competitions, and just several players in the team were at the top level of the soccer world. In the 2010 South Africa World Cup, Spain team defeated Holland by one goal and historically won the FIFA Big Strength Cup which has been supreme honor in soccer world. Afterwards, Spain team were crowned the 2012 European Football Championship champions, being the first national team to successfully defend European Football Championship title. Spain winning European Football Championship title twice and World Cup title in four years became a new record in soccer history.

Today, the most famous players in the Spain team are:

1.   Andres Iniesta. Iniesta is playing as midfielder or winger in FC Barcelona which is one of the best clubs in the world. He was the one who gave the clutch shot against Holland and helped Spain win the 2010 South Africa World Cup title.

2.   David de Gea. De Gea is playing as goalkeeper in Manchester United FC which is one of the oldest clubs in the world. He is the best-paid goalkeeper in Premier League.

  

    

3.   Sergio Ramos. Ramos is playing as defender in CF Real Madrid which is also one of the best clubs in the world. He was a qualifier for the 2014 Ballon d'Or.

    

4.   Gerard Pique. Pique is playing as defender in FC Barcelona, and he had won titles from 21 major competitions when he was 25 years old.
